Kindiki, who serves as UDA Deputy Party Leader, said the party had continued to attract new supporters because of the development programme it presented during the 2022 campaigns.
The achievements in registration, DP noted, are being consolidated through increased recruitment of doctors, nurses, lab technologists among other healthcare practitioners to meet the demands in various hospitals and health centres across the country.

The CS attributed the improvement to the recapitalisation of KEMSA through a Sh10 billion credit facility, the strengthening of regional distribution centres and the digitisation of the supply chain.
According to the Health CS, the centre will use a single national platform to provide 24-hour ambulance dispatch, intelligent call management, clinical triage, real-time ambulance tracking and coordination with health facilities.
Speaking during a consultative meeting with the Health NGOs Network (HENNET) on Tuesday, Duale said the government would strengthen coordination with non-state actors through structured partnerships aimed at aligning development interventions with national priorities while enhancing transparency, accountability and the delivery of health services across the country
The new platform is expected to modernise Kenya's community health information systems by providing secure, scalable and interoperable digital infrastructure capable of supporting real-time decision-making while improving service delivery for frontline health workers
The committee will oversee implementation of the National Action Plan while strengthening regulation, enforcement, and collaboration among government agencies to safeguard the country's pharmaceutical supply chain

The group cited ongoing strikes, delays in Social Health Authority (SHA) approvals, limited specialised services in Level 5 and Level 6 hospitals, and the exploitation of patients through unsafe practices as major challenges facing the health sector.
