The President said 300 officers from the Ministry of Lands had been assembled from across the country and assigned to speed up the work, including land surveys, documentation and other processes required to formalise ownership.
According to the DCI, investigations revealed that Daimler Enterprises Limited had laid claim to the same property despite records from the Ministry of Lands confirming the complainant as the rightful owner.

According to the statement issued by the agency on Friday, the parcel, known as Karatina Municipality/Block II/383 and measuring 0.074 acres, was formally surrendered to the Government after a consent was recorded before the Environment and Land Court in Nyeri between the EACC and the registered owner, Peter Thinwa Ngari.
“The adjudication on this land will apply to the 177 plots including the public utility which were demarcated in 1980 under stalled 1980 settlements process,” said Justice Njoroge.
