According to the guidelines released by KNEC, the qualifying test will be administered in September 2026, with prospective candidates required to undergo a validation process before being cleared to sit the examination.
For the November 2026 series, institutional candidates, including those taking Business Single and Group subjects, will register from July 6 to September 11, 2026.
The recruitment exercise will run from June 10 to July 30, 2025, and successful applicants will undergo training in preparation for their duties.
The test timetable is available on KNEC’s official website, and candidates scheduled to sit the assessment have already been notified.
The certificates are being delivered through Sub-County Directors of Education nationwide.
Under the new system, individuals who lose their certificates will need to submit a series of documents, including a police report, identification proof, and payment for processing fees.
