The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has released key dates for the 2027 General Election, confirming that the polls will be held under the existing 290 constituencies and 1,450 wards.
The timelines were published in a Kenya Gazette Special Issue on August 20, 2026, alongside seven notices signed by IEBC Chairperson Erastus Edung Ethekon.
