Gor Mahia staged a spirited comeback to beat Migori Youth 4-3 on penalties and win the inaugural Green Legacy Cup at Nyayo Stadium on Sunday.
The match ended 2-2 after regulation time, forcing a shootout in which Gor held their nerve to secure the trophy.
Migori looked on course for victory after taking a two-goal lead in the first half. Dennis Oguta opened the scoring before Philemon Nyakwaka doubled the advantage.
Gor Mahia reduced the deficit just before the break through Paul Okoth, who produced an acrobatic overhead kick from Michael Kibwage's long ball.
The Kenyan champions continued their comeback after the restart, with substitute Ebenezer Assiafuah heading in Paul Ochuoga's delivery to restore parity.
Both sides created chances in search of a winner, but neither could find the decisive goal before the final whistle.
Gor Mahia ultimately prevailed in the shootout after Migori missed two penalties, while K'Ogalo failed with one of their attempts.
