England will head into Sunday's FIFA World Cup quarter-final against Norway in Miami with several fitness and disciplinary concerns.
Defender Marc Guehi is a doubt after suffering a minor hamstring injury during England's 3-2 Round of 16 victory over Mexico at the Azteca Stadium.
He will be assessed on Friday to determine whether he will be fit for Sunday's match.
England manager Thomas Tuchel is also monitoring the fitness of midfielder Declan Rice, who missed training for a second consecutive day after contracting a sickness bug. Rice had already been managing a neural issue affecting his hamstring and lower back, with the illness further complicating his recovery.
Meanwhile, right-back Reece James returned to full training for the first time since sustaining a hamstring injury during England's goalless draw with Ghana. Although he did not complete Thursday's session, he is expected to be available against Norway if he suffers no setback.
England have also been dealt a suspension blow after Jarell Quansah was handed a two-match ban following his red card in the Round of 16 win over Mexico.
With Newcastle United's Tino Livramento ruled out before the tournament through a calf injury, Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah was called up as his replacement. Chalobah, who can also play at right-back, provides additional cover, while Djed Spence is currently the only fully fit natural right-back available to Tuchel.
England also face the risk of suspension, with Guehi, Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice and Nico O'Reilly all one yellow card away from missing a potential semi-final if the Three Lions overcome Norway.
Despite concerns over Guehi's fitness, England still have John Stones, Dan Burn and Chalobah available at centre-back, while Bellingham, Rice and O'Reilly will need to avoid another booking to remain available for the semi-finals.
